10-15-08: HTM is now the official marketing arm for the Armory.  The Armory's Track & Field Center is the busiest worldwide, with more than 125 track meets held yearly.  Annually, more than 125,000 athletes of all ages participate and visit the Armory - including many high school students.  The Armory is home to many organizations, including the New York Public School Athletic League, Catholic High Schools Athletic Association, and the Independent Private Schools League.  For more information on available sponsorship opportunities, please click here to email us.

9-29-08: For the 19th year in a row, the number of high school students that participate in athletics has increased.  Click here to read "Survey: High School sports participation keeps growing" by Daryl Bell.  The survey was released by the National Federation of State High School Associations.  The national survey determined that 54.8% of students enrolled in high school participate in athletics - that's more than 7 million student athletes! 

8-21-08: This weekend marks the start of the high school football season in 10 states across the country.  The 10 states include South Carolina, Georgia, Ohio, and Tennessee.  24 additional states will join the mix next weekend.

7-29-08: Home Team Marketing (HTM) is now the official marketing arm for the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS).  TAPPS was chartered in 1978 and today includes 234 member schools.  HTM will be responsible for design and implementation of programs for the development of sponsorships.

6-23-08: Home Team Marketing (HTM) continued its support of the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAA) through its sponsorship of the annual Section 2 meeting held in Louisville, KY.  This year's meeting was attended by more than 50 athletic administrators from Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Washington D.C. and Delaware.  This marks the fourth consecutive year that HTM has supported the organization.  HTM School Representatives, Patrick Spear and Dan Malone, had the opportunity to meet with the various administrators and update them on current and future HTM programs.

4-22-08: Home Team Marketing (HTM) was recognized by the Northeast Ohio Interscholastic Athletic Administrator's Association (NEOIAAA) as the winner of the Association's 2008 Ralph Quesinberry Service Award.  The award recognizes HTM's dedication and support of the numerous high school athletic programs throughout Northeast Ohio.  Members of HTM's School Team were on hand to accept the award.  Click here to see HTM's Executive Director, Patrick Spear, accepting the award.

4-4-08: Home Team Marketing (HTM) has partnered with the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) to become the official sales representative for the Michigan governing body.  HTM will be responsible for securing sponsorships and media rights packages for MHSAA tournament events along with generating other streams of revenue for the Association.  The MHSAA joins the OHSAA (Ohio), TSSAA (Tennessee), NCHSAA (North Carolina), TAPPS (Texas) and VPL (Vermont) as state governing bodies that are working with HTM.

2-8-08: The Ohio High School Football Coaches Association (OHSFCA) has partnered with Home Team Marketing (HTM) for the upcoming North-South All-Star Classic at Ohio Stadium on June 14, 2008.  The OHSFCA All-Star Classic is an annual event that has taken place since 1946.  The North-South game is the longest running high school all-star game in the nation.  The OHSFCA is looking for a title sponsor of the all-star game and the events surrounding the contest.  Please click here for more information about the game.

2-6-08: Home Team Marketing (HTM) welcomes Patrick Urbanc.  Patrick comes to HTM after graduating from Bowling Green State University in 2007 with a degree in Communications and Marketing Research.  He had been involved in internships with HTM before being hired full-time as a member of the co-op sales team.

12-31-07: Home Team Marketing was on-site to meet high school administrators at the 2007 NIAAA Conference.  The HTM booth and hospitality room provided HTM's dedicated school representatives a chance to meet with many of the contacts HTM works with on a daily basis.  The conference also provided a tremendous opportunity to introduce the Home Team Marketing program to many new schools.  Click here to see HTM's presence at the Conference.

12-12-07: Home Team Marketing's Dan Malone, Dedicated School Representative, and Patrick Spear, Executive Director of Schools, recently made a trip to Detroit to deliver Mr. Vic Michaels, Director of the Detroit Catholic High School League, a check for the league's involvement in the HTM Network.  The Detroit Catholic League has been a loyal part of the HTM Network for the past two years.

12-10-07: Home Team Marketing welcomes Dave Shannon.  Dave is responsible for managing sales efforts in the Southeast region.  Dave has more than 19 years of experience in sales, sales management and marketing.  He comes to HTM with terrific experience in advertising sales.  Dave held senior level positions with Captivate Network, Comcast Spotlight and First Brands Corp. He will add tremendous leadership and skill to an area of the country that is extremely passionate about high school athletics!  Dave will lead HTM's sales development for Florida, Alabama, Georgia and Mississippi based out of a regional office in Alpharetta, GA.

12-10-07: Home Team Marketing welcomes Kevin Shea.  Kevin is reponsible for managing sales efforts in the Mid-Atlantic region.  Kevin comes to HTM with great experience in the collegiate sports marketing arena.  He previously worked on sponsorships for the University of Virginia for CBS Collegiate Sports Properties.  Kevin also gained notable experience as an intern for the South Florida Super Bowl Committee.  Kevin will bring a solid presence to North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia - states where HTM has hundreds of school partnerships.  Kevin will lead the Mid-Atlantic sales efforts out of a regional office in Charlotte, NC.

12-5-07: Home Team Marketing was recognized during the Weatherhead 100 Awards as the #10 fastest growing company in Northeast Ohio. HTM was honored among their peers and other professionals at the Weatherhead 100 Awards December 4, 2007. In recognition of this honor, HTM was also featured in Inside Business magazine.

12-5-07: As an official exhibitor of the 2007 National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) Conference, Home Team Marketing will have an exclusive presence at this annual three day meeting which will be held in Nashville, TN. While in Nashville, HTM will be able to meet with over 2,000 athletic administrators and officials from across the country to discuss the Home Team Marketing program, gather more information on schools and their athletic needs, as well as educate attendees on the funding opportunities that Home Team Marketing is able to provide to high school athletic programs. Home Team Marketing is hoping to use this first year of being at the conference as a catalyst to adding schools to our over 3,000 member school network.

9-26-07: HTM participated in the fifth annual SBJ/SBD Relay Worldwide Sports Sponsorship Symposium. HTM representatives were on site with more than 450 top brand marketers and sports executives. The day and a half symposium included several keynote speakers that mentioned the emergence of high school sports sponsorships as a viable opportunity to pursue.

9-24-07: The HTM "Be There" campaign was launched in the Sports Business Journal. This campaign emphasizes the power of the the high school audience. 9-21-07:
Parma City School District has partnered with HTM for all Byer's Field scoreboard advertising opportunities. This 12,000 seat stadium hosts the home football games of four high schools, as well as soccer and track for the three PCSD schools, totaling more than 200 events per year. A variety of sponsorship packages for the scoreboard are available including advertising spots on the 40' x 22' digital board. Turnkey Intelligence has just completed an independent survey that asked people how they feel about marketing at the high school level and compares high school sports to professional sports and other advertising. 8-26-07:
HTM-The Charity Game Corp. hosted the 41st Annual High School Charity Game at Browns Stadium. Benedictine HS defeated Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin HS 28-7 in the afternoon match-up. Romel Dismuke, of Benedictine HS, was selected as the game MVP. In the night cap, Avon Lake HS defeated Avon HS 50-25 in the highest scoring game in Charity Game history. Mike Haddad, of Avon Lake HS, was selected as the game MVP. The fantastic double-header was capped off with a fireworks show set to music. Proceeds from the game go the participating schools, the Plain Dealer Charities, and the OHSAA's First Friday Foundation. For the Plain Dealer report, click here.

8-17-07:

6-22-07:
 Home Team Marketing (HTM) was proud to sponsor the NIAAA District II Convention in Baltimore, MD, on June 22 through June 25.  This was the third year in which HTM has partnered with the event and the NIAA, whose goal is to develop, enhance and preserve the educational values of interscholastic athletics.  HTM was pleased to attend and looks forward to continuing its support of the convention next year in Kentucky.

Home Team Marketing, official marketing arm of the Greater Cleveland Football Coaches Association (GCFCA), is proud to announce that Cleveland Clinic Sports Health signed a 3-year agreement to be the presenting sponsor of the Associations 'Cuyahoga County East-West High School All-Star Charity Football Game.' This sponsorship will assist the Coaches Association in the presentation of scholarships during their end of season awards banquet. The All-Star football game is scheduled to take place on June 15, 2007 at Don Shula Stadium on the John Carroll University campus.
